MPT: The War on Christmas
Matthew Paul Turner is an author, humorist, speaker and an all around funny guy with a deep insight on life and following Jesus. He's also not afraid to speak up and even offend when necessary.
He's posted a great article on his blog about the "War on Christmas" which appears in the most recent issue of Collide magazine. You can read it here.
Plus, he and his lovely wife Jessica just found out they're having a baby. You can check out Jessica's cool scrapbooking blog here. She is extremely creative.

Ideas for Christmas Eve Service
We haven't worn out our welcome just yet, and the powers that be are giving us the Christmas Eve Service again.
That makes the question, "what do we want it to look like?" Of course, we'll sing Silent Night whilst lighting the candles, but what other ideas and elements should we have.
One idea I have is just an ambiance thing. I'd like to have a shadow nativity set up. It would be a box with a stained glass front made out of that semi-transparent colored paper (vellum?). Inside would be a cut out of the nativity scene with a back light. We can also keep the house lights low.
So let's hear your ideas. Post a comment here or at the FaceBook group discussion board.
